When they coined the phrase "they don't make 'em like they used to," I think they were talking about the Andromeda Ascendant. Back in the day, she was the pride of the old Systems Commonwealth (just ask her, she'll tell you about it) - a work of art as well as one of the toughest warships in known space.

And thanks to the general state of technological screwed-upness that's become the state of things since the Commonwealth went bye-bye - Andromeda is once again a work of art and one of the toughest warships in known space. Thanks to us dragging her out of that black hole and getting her up and running.

So this baby can chew through Nietzschean armadas like a Magog in a chicken coop. On the not-so-bright side, you try finding replacement parts and supplies for a three hundred year old warship from a lost civilization.
