IPretty soon I'll add some pictures. You'll just have to come back for a second visit to see them.

Adventure, intrigue, lies, seduction, bribes... just like the good old days on the Maru. We weren't generally juggling the entire Than armada though. I guess with a bigger ship comes bigger fish to fry. Oh, Beka kissed Dylan. That was pretty funny. She claims it was a diversionary tactic, but I think that's just a convenient excuse. I have it all on replay if you want to see it sometime.

Fixing things. Why am I always fixing things? Harper, fix this. Harper, I broke that. Harper, Tyr got in a firefight down the corridor there, can you go help the bots fix it up? How am I supposed to just pick things up and move on? You know, just when you think your life starts being a little less than miserable, the universe throws you a curve ball and strands you out in left field. Sorry, no more time for philosophical musings. I gotta go fix things.

Ok, that was a lot less fun than anticipated. A lot. Have I mentioned recently that Magog suck? I mean, they really really suck. And now we find out there's this huge... thing... full of them coming our way. I mean -- really really huge. Andromeda got all shot up again, and all kinds of bad things happened. I really don't want to talk about it. But next time I want to try poking around in old backups, remind me not to.

Well, I've finally caught up with the external repairs, so now I'm gonna take a look at the core architecture of the Andromeda AI and see how she's held up to all the times we've been shot at, invaded, infiltrate, and otherwise screwed with by every nutcase in known space. Beka thinks I'd be better off installing more upgrades on the Maru, but this shouldn't take long. I mean, what's the worst that could happen?

Beka used the diary Trance and I found and charted a course to the lost Commonwealth capital of Tarn-Vedra. She flew us straight between the twin cores of the Andromeda galaxy - not a pleasant place to hang out, believe me. So she started doing Flash to increase her slippiloting reaction times. Beka freaked out, overdosed, and nearly got us all killed. I think I'll stick with Sparky Cola, thank you very much.
2.15-2.17.10088 [ SSC ]
Whoah, major strangeness this week. After all the government of Mobius put Dylan through, Dylan actually took us back there for a visit. It turns out that the new provisional government has held elections and opted to join the Commonwealth. I say take 'em, but only if they ditch those stupid uniforms. On our way out, we tried to make a stop by the next door neighbors in Machen System, but they warned us away with some nasty threats. I guess three hundred years of chaos have made them skittish about inviting strangers over for tea and crumpets.
2.1-2.10.10088 [ S-C ]
How much does my life suck? I build Andromeda - the ship of my dreams - an absolutely perfect humanoid avatar, and does it get me any action? No! Instead, she falls for the first beetle-browed android in an ugly vest who walks onto the ship and acts all sensitive with her. Oh, Gabriel, you're so smart. And soooo handsome. Don't make me puke. Oh, and did I mention that he turned out to be a traitor and saboteur for the Restorians - the avatar of their flagship and leader, in fact? And Rommie still wanted to leave with him, at least until she discovered that Gabriel still harbored his homicidal alter ego inside of him. So she blew him away. Damn, I guess I was wrong. Some love stories do have happy endings.
1.21-1.24.10088 [ THO ]
Oh yeah, baby, gimme some of that bone-bladed lovin'. What's that, you say? Doesn't Seamus Zelazny Harper hate and fear Nietzscheans? Pish-tah! Harper has love in his heart for all species, especially if they look like Sabra First Daughter Elssbett Mossadim.
We agreed to ferry her to Pride Jaguar's homeworld so she could marry that pride's decadent archduke Charlemagne Bolivar and seal an alliance that would counterbalance the Drago-Kazov. Or something like that. Anyway, the Drago-Kazov fleet (I truly hate those guys) tried to crash the party, so we faked 'em out while Dylan and Elssbett took off in the Maru...which yours truly had just rigged up with ECM units and all sorts of cool stealth tech. It didn't seem fair, really - us trading punches with a Dragan fleet while Dylan got to hang out with Her Royal Gorgeousness. I'm not sure what happened between those two, but Dylan sure came back looking rested and happy. I gotta start watching him and taking notes...
Feel free to check out the year 10087 over in that log file there.
Or there's always the boring old days Before Andromeda
