Back Story/History

Adi was orphaned as a baby by Nietzschean raids. She was rescued by monks, and taken to a sanctuary on Atlas' Arm. There she was raised with hundreds of children who had been orphaned by similar circumstances. This sanctuary, turned out to be a monastery run by "fighting monks", who specialized in the ancient Earth martial arts. From the moment she was able to stand, she was was taught Karate and Kung-Fu.

She was an excellent student, and by the time she reached puberty, she had become Master Peng's favorite student ( even though he wasn't supposed to have favorites ) and most trusted assistant. At the age of 18 years old, she'd earned her 6th degree Black Belt and was given the title of "Sensai". Sadly, Master Peng ( who'd been like a father to her ) died at the ripe old age of 100, three years ago. Adi had been helping to run the monastery, when the assignment came.

Adi was reluctant to accept the assignment because the Nietzscheans were the cause of why she had been orphaned in the first place. And not only her, but hundreds of her brothers and sisters who'd been raised in the monastery. However, were it not for those horrible circumstances, she would not have been rescued by the monks, raised by Master Peng, and learned Martial Arts. Adi also remembered what Master Peng always used to caution. "Judge not, least you be judged . . . .". So, Adi bid the only family and home she'd ever known good bye, packed up, and boarded the shuttle for Captain Tyr Anasazi's ship. And a future full of unknown possibilities.
