This past week, Entertainment Weekly reported that the syndicated fantasy adventure series Legend of the Seeker was going to be cancelled after two seasons, due to low ratings.  

A number of Tribune Station Group outlets had already dropped the show back in March.  The main executive producers, Sam Rami & Rob Tapert (Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Xena: Warrior Princess), had tried to shop the show around to other outlets without much luck.

Previously, there had been talk of getting Kevin Sorbo down to New Zealand to make a guest appearance on the show, as his Herk colleague Michael Hurst had done.

There is now a site on WordPress that is trying to rally support among fans of Legend of the Seeker to get Disney & ABC to reconsider and not shut it down.
